Texas High School Basketball - Decatur tops Weatherford
December 8, 2022: Decatur, TX 76234 Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 43-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Decatur upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Arlington Heights won 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Ponder (Ponder, TX)
Next up, the Kangaroos play the Bridgeport Bulls (Bridgeport, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Weatherford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Bulls come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 57-47 non-league loss to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX).
