Texas High School Basketball - Nocona can't hold off Grand Saline
December 8, 2022: Nocona, TX 76255 The Grand Saline Indians basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Nocona Indians to 49 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Grand Saline will battle a Knights team coming off a 51-46 non-league loss to Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
The Indians (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Tom Bean was nudged by Callisburg (Gainesville, TX), 66-34, in a non-league contest.
