Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) and the host Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), saw Independence's basketball squad wallop Sierra Linda by a tally of 63-34.

With the victory, Independence improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to confront the Fighting Lobos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Fighting Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. La Joya Community lost 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain View (Tucson, AZ)
