December 8, 2022: Spur, TX 79370 The Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors (Lubbock, TX) basketball nipped the host Spur Bulldogs (Spur, TX), 42-39 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Lockney got by Forsan (Forsan, TX), 52-50, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Aspermont for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Spur will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 66-38 non-league win over Crowell (Crowell, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-4.
