Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View fells La Joya Community
December 8, 2022: Tucson, AZ 85742 Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 57-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Chaparral lost 80-48 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA)
Next up, the Fighting Lobos play the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 63-34 non-league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ).
