Wisconsin High School Basketball - St. Croix Central nips Stanley-Boyd
December 8, 2022: Hammond, WI 54015 St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stanley-Boyd Orioles (Stanley, WI), 80-75 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Croix Central upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Somerset (Somerset, WI) to play the Spartans in a Middle Border bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Somerset won 81-44 in their recent non-league bout against Regis (Eau Claire, WI)
Next up, the Orioles play the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Stanley-Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 61-45 league win over Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI).
