The Ashford Yellowjackets basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Sneads Pirates to 16 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emmanuel Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.

The Pirates (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mosley (Lynn Haven, FL). The Dolphins come into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Mosley was crushed by Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL), 50-34, in a non-league bout.
