California High School Basketball - Mt. Diablo crushes Athenian

December 8, 2022: Danville, CA 94506

Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Athenian Owls (Danville, CA), 60-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Diablo upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Quarry Lane (Dublin, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Quarry Lane won 38-2 in their recent non-league bout against Athenian (Danville, CA)

Next up, the Owls play the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) in a Bay Counties - East bout, on Friday, January 6. Athenian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
