The Solon Comets (Solon, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Euclid Panthers (Euclid, OH), 72-12 in Thursday's league test.

The Comets (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Austintown-Fitch was trounced by Hathaway Brown (Shaker Heights, OH), 54-48, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host North for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 14.
