The Hicks Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Glenmora Wildcats to 41 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oberlin for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Hicks will meet a Tigers team coming off a 64-18 non-league win over Vinton (Vinton, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record.
