Tennessee High School Basketball - Lancaster Christian Academy ripped by Tennessee Heat
December 8, 2022: Nashville, TN 37122 The Tennessee Heat basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Lancaster Christian Academy Knights to 14 in the non-league triumph on Thursday.
The now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harpeth Hall for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Tennessee Heat will meet a Honeybears team coming off a 72-33 league win over St. Cecilia Academy (Nashville, TN). The Honeybears record now stands at 4-1.
The Knights (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Classical School (Franklin, TN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
First Quarter
Heat starting five set the tone with a dominant first quarter scoring 19 points and holding the Knights to 0 points.
Second Quarter
The Knights came back against the Heat bench, scoring 9 while the Heat were able to maintain a slight edge for the quarter scoring 11.
Third Quarter
The Heat were able to take back some control of the scoring putting up 9 points to the Knights 5.
Fourth Quarter
The Heat bench were able to take final control of the game with a very strong defensive effort. Heat outscored the Knights 11-0 in the last quarter.
