December 8, 2022: Springville, IA 52336 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) and the visiting Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), saw Springville's basketball squad hold off Lisbon by a count of 53-51.
With the victory, Springville upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA) to play the Buccaneers in a Tri-Rivers - West challenge on Friday, December 9. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. East Buchanan won 71-25 in their recent league challenge against Starmont (Arlington, IA)
Next up, the Lions play the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - East challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
