California High School Basketball - Reno tops McFarland

December 8, 2022: McFarland, CA 93250

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) and the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), saw Reno's basketball squad knock off McFarland by a count of 58-50.

With the victory, Reno upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Calaveras won 48-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. McFarland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 69-12 non-league win over Coast Union (Cambria, CA).
