In Thursday's non-league match, the host Portage Mustangs basketball team scored a good 55-38 triumph over the Windber Ramblers.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 9. Portage will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.

With the defeat, Windber moves to 2-3 on the year. The Ramblers host Rockwood (Rockwood, PA) to meet the Rockets in a non-league match on Monday, December 12. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 0-2. Rockwood lost 60-50 in their recent league match against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA)
