The Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA), 17-16 in Thursday's league test.

The Vipers (5-3) will now prepare for their test against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Falcons go into the Valley test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, East Valley got by Fulton (Van Nuys, CA), 57-3, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vaughn for a Valley battle on Monday, December 12. Sherman Oaks CES will battle a White Tigers team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
