North Carolina High School Basketball - East Rutherford fells Piedmont Community Charter
December 8, 2022: Forest City, NC 28018 East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 57-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Rutherford upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host Brevard (Brevard, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-0.
Next up, the Patriots play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
