The Rocky Mount Gryphons basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Hunt Warriors to 38 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gryphons now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillside for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, C.B. Aycock was nudged by Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 53-47, in a non-league contest.
