December 8, 2022: Kentfield, CA 94904 Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA), 64-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Piner upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Prospectors travel to Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Montgomery won 48-36 in their recent non-league bout against Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Marin Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Gauchos go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 48-36 non-league loss to Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA).
