The Joseph City Wildcats (Joseph City, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Alchesay Falcons (Whiteriver, AZ), 53-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Sanders, AZ). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Valley was tipped by Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ), 55-36, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Morenci for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Alchesay will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-60 non-league loss to Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
