In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Badgers basketball team scored a tight 53-50 triumph over the South San Antonio Bobcats.

In their next game, the Badgers meet the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 9. Bishop will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 9-5 record after their 39-38 non-league win over Clear Falls (League City, TX).
