Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Scottsburg Warriors (Scottsburg, IN), 51-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brownstown Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Braves host North Harrison (Ramsey, IN) to play the Cougars in a Mid-Southern bout on Friday, December 15. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 0-4. North Harrison lost 68-32 in their recent league bout against Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Scottsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 51-12 non-league win over Lanesville (Lanesville, IN).
