Oklahoma High School Basketball - Caney can't hold off Moyers
December 8, 2023: Caney, OK 74533 The Moyers Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Caney Cougars to 59 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mill Creek for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Moyers will battle a Bullfrogs team coming off a 45-37 league win over Stringtown (Stringtown, OK). The Bullfrogs record now stands at 7-3.
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Caney Valley (Caney, KS). The Bullpups enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Caney Valley Galena (Galena, KS), 0-0, in a non-league contest.
