December 8, 2023: Flippin, AR 72634 The Cave City Cavemen basketball team (Cave City, AR), was nudged 45-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR)
The Bobcats now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Izard County for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. Flippin will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-54 league loss to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
The Cavemen (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Tuckerman edged Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR), 52-18, in a non-league battle.
