The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 63-47 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Handley notched a victory over Winterboro (Alpine, AL), 59-41, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to McIntosh for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Trinity Christian will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-3.
