Texas High School Basketball - Ellison nips Coppell
December 8, 2023: Coppell, TX 75019 Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), 57-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ellison upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Glenn (Leander, TX) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Glenn won 51-44 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Coppell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 71-54 non-league win over Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX).
