December 8, 2023: Cranston, RI 02910 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) and the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw Cranston East's basketball squad overcome Mt. Hope by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Cranston East improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to confront the Hawks in a Division 1 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mt. Hope will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 55-47 non-league win over St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI).
