Texas High School Basketball - Da Vinci holds off Seymour
December 8, 2023: Seymour, TX 76380 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Da Vinci Dragons (El Paso, TX) and the host Seymour Panthers (Seymour, TX), saw Da Vinci's basketball squad hold off Seymour by a tally of 53-51.
With the victory, Da Vinci improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Vernon (Vernon, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Vernon won 42-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellington (Wellington, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Seymour will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 75-32 non-league win over San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX).
