Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE) and the host Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS), saw Medicine Valley's basketball squad hold off Decatur Community by a tally of 56-53.

With the victory, Medicine Valley improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Southwest (Bartley, NE) to play the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Roughriders come into the test with a record of 1-3. Southwest won 54-37 in their recent non-league test against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)
