North Carolina High School Basketball - Northern Nash holds off First Flight

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) and the visiting First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), saw Northern Nash's basketball squad hold off First Flight by a tally of 83-76.

With the victory, Northern Nash improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Farmville Central won 79-26 in their recent non-league challenge against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge, on Friday, December 15. First Flight will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
