Oregon High School Basketball - Gresham tops Sunset
December 8, 2023: Gresham, OR 97030 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) and the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), saw Gresham's basketball squad knock off Sunset by a count of 70-62.
With the victory, Gresham upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR) to play the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Lake Oswego lost 66-63 in their recent non-league challenge against West Salem (Salem, OR)
Next up, the Apollos play the Cleveland Warriors (Portland, OR) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, December 13. Sunset will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 66-49 non-league win over North Medford (Medford, OR).
