North Carolina High School Basketball - Hickory Ridge fells Porter Ridge

December 8, 2023: Harrisburg, NC 28075

Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 67-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickory Ridge upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Ragin' Bulls travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Pirates play the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Porter Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Central (Pageland, SC).
