Iowa High School Basketball - Hinton overwhelmed by South O'Brien
December 8, 2023: Hinton, IA 51024 The South O'Brien Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hinton Blackhawks to 42 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. South O'Brien will battle a Rebels team coming off a 64-44 league win over Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-1.
The Blackhawks (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Lawton-Bronson triumphed over Woodbury Central (Moville, IA), 73-45, in a league contest.
