Texas High School Basketball - Perrin-Whitt nips Iowa Park
December 8, 2023: Perrin, TX 76486 Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX), 59-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Perrin-Whitt upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Coronado lost 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX)
Next up, the Hawks play the Graham Steers (Graham, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Iowa Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Steers come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 61-41 non-league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
