Hawaii High School Basketball - Kohala winner over Kamehameha Maui
December 8, 2023: Kapaau, HI 96755 The Kohala Cowboys (Kapaau, HI) basketball felled the visiting Kamehameha Maui Warriors (Pukalani, HI), 53-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cowboys (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Corona (Corona, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Corona was beaten by Baldwin (Wailuku, HI), 62-49, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Maui for a Maui I test on Tuesday, December 12. Kamehameha Maui will encounter a Sabers squad coming off a 73-38 non-league loss to Seabury Hall (Makawao, HI). The Sabers record now stands at 1-1.
