December 8, 2023: San Diego, CA 92109 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), saw Mission Bay's basketball squad overcome La Jolla by a tally of 47-37.
With the victory, Mission Bay improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Helix (La Mesa, CA) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Helix won 74-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Army-Navy Warriors (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. La Jolla will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 50-13 non-league win over California Military Institute (Perris, CA).
