In Friday's non-league match, the visiting LaPoynor Flyers basketball team scored a tight 75-70 triumph over the Los Fresnos Falcons.

In their next game, the Flyers meet the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 9. LaPoynor will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Broncos enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 74-55 non-league win over Brookeland (Brookeland, TX).

With the defeat, Los Fresnos moves to 16-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Brookeland (Brookeland, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, December 9.
