Mississippi High School Basketball - Tupelo Christian Prep nips Nettleton
December 8, 2023: Belden, MS 38826 Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS), 62-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tupelo Christian Prep upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles host Smithville (Smithville, MS) to confront the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Smithville lost 73-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Mantachie (Mantachie, MS)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Hamilton Lions (Hamilton, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Nettleton will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 59-43 non-league win over Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS).
