The Pioneer Pioneers basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Salem Rocks to 42 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Southeastern - Red contest on Tuesday, December 12. Pioneer will meet a Kicking Mules team coming off a 56-44 non-league loss to Riverview (Riverview, MI). The Kicking Mules record now stands at 0-2.

The Rocks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.
