Missouri High School Basketball - Springfield Catholic fells Strafford
December 8, 2023: Springfield, MO 65809 Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish (Springfield, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Strafford Indians (Strafford, MO), 55-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Springfield Catholic upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Cassville (Cassville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Big 8 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Cassville won 54-30 in their recent league bout against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO)
Next up, the Indians play the Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Strafford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 70-54 non-league loss to Greenwood (Springfield, MO).
