The Washington County Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Wakefield Bombers to 9 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smith Center for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Washington County will battle a Redmen team coming off a 59-43 non-league win over Sylvan-Lucas (Sylvan Grove, KS). The Redmen record now stands at 1-3.

The Bombers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pike Valley (Scandia, KS). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Pike Valley was routed by Blue Valley (Randolph, KS), 66-36, in a non-league contest.
