Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH) and the visiting New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH), saw Grove City's basketball squad knock off New Albany by a tally of 49-37.

With the victory, Grove City improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH) to play the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. St. Francis DeSales won 39-35 in their recent non-league challenge against London (London, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. New Albany will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Gales come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 36-26 non-league win over Central Crossing (Grove City, OH).
