December 8, 2023: Glendale, AZ 85310 The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions basketball team (Glendale, AZ), was toppled 50-30 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ)
The Mustangs now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willow Canyon for a battle on Friday, December 15. Sunrise Mountain will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 81-25 non-league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.
The Mountain Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Jaguars come into the battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Boulder Creek beat Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 49-47, in a league battle.
