Oregon High School Basketball - Alsea knocked off by Elgin
December 8, 2023: Elgin, OR 97827 The Elgin Huskies basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Alsea Wolverines to 22 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Elgin will meet a Locomotives team coming off a 50-24 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Locomotives record now stands at 0-1.
The Wolverines (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Wallowa ran past Dufur (Dufur, OR), 44-22, in a non-league contest.
