North River Christian Chargers (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL), 60-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, North River Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Heritage Christian Academy (Hoover, AL) to play the Eagles in a AISA A Region 1 bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Jets play the Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Banks Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
