The Mogadore Wildcats (Mogadore, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), 49-35 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Pirates go into the Portage Trail test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Southeast notched a victory over Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH), 35-18, in a non-league test.
