Kansas High School Basketball - Caney Valley can't hold off Caney Valley
December 8, 2023: Caney, KS 67333 The Caney Valley Bullpups basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Caney Valley Trojans to 48 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bullpups now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sedan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Caney Valley will battle a Devils team coming off a 40-24 non-league win over Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Devils record now stands at 2-2.
The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Morris (Morris, OK). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Morris was nudged by North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK), 57-37, in a non-league contest.
