Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers (New Richland, MN), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cotter upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to St. Clair (St. Clair, MN) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Cyclones come into the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Clair lost 69-67 in their recent league bout against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Saturday, December 9. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 58-49 league win over Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN).
