Texas High School Basketball - Davenport thwarts Rockdale
December 8, 2023: Rockdale, TX 76567 The Davenport Wolves (San Antonio, TX) basketball knocked off the host Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX), 46-27 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolves (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Boerne (Boerne, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 4A Region IV District 27 test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Boerne notched a victory over Wagner (San Antonio, TX), 44-43, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lampasas for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Rockdale will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 4-12.
