In Friday's non-league outing, the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX), by a margin of 45-34.

The Raccoons (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Trojans go into the 5A Region II District 9 outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Newman Smith defeated Ranchview (Irving, TX), 44-37, in a non-league outing.
