Texas High School Basketball - Fairfield fells Neches
December 8, 2023: Fairfield, TX 75840 Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Neches Tigers (Neches, TX), 39-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairfield upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Eagles host Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Madisonville won 57-53 in their recent non-league bout against Connally (Waco, TX)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Neches will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 44-40 non-league loss to Lovelady (Lovelady, TX).
